Jaabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that:
Prophet Muhammad (may Allah’s peace be upon him) said:
The best people are those most beneficial to [other] people.

Narrated Abu Mas’ud Al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him):
The Prophet (may Allah’s peace be upon him) said:
“When a Muslim spends something on his family intending to receive Allah’s reward it is regarded as Sadaqa for him.”

Narrated Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him):
The worst food is that of a wedding banquet to which only the rich are invited while the poor are not invited. And he who refuses an invitation (to a banquet) disobeys Allah and His Apostle Muhammad (may Allah’s peace be upon him).

Narrated ‘Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): I said:
“O Allah’s Apostle! I have two neighbors! To whom shall I send my gifts?” He [Prophet Muhammad, may Allah's peace be upon him] said, “To the one whose gate in nearer to you.”

Narrated Jabir bin ‘Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet Muhammad (may Allah’s peace be upon him) said:
“Enjoining all that is good is a Sadaqa [Charity].”

Narrated Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet Muhammad (may Allah’s peace be upon him) said:
“If any Muslim plants any plant and a human being or an animal eats of it, he will be rewarded as if he had given that much in charity.”

Narrated Safwan bin Salim (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet Muhammad (may Allah’s peace be upon him) said:
“The one who looks after and works for a widow and for a poor person, is like a warrior fighting for Allah’s Cause or like a person who fasts during the day and prays all the night.”
Narrated Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet said as above.

Never was the Prophet Muhammad (may Allah’s peace be upon him) asked for a thing to be given for which his answer was ‘no’.

Narrated Sahl bin Sa’ad (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (may Allah’s peace be upon him) said:
“I and the person who looks after an orphan and provides for him, will be in Paradise like this - putting his index and middle fingers together.”

Narrated Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): I said,
“O Allah’s Apostle! I have two neighbors and would like to know to which of them I should give presents.”
He (may Allah’s peace be upon him) replied,
“To the one whose door is nearer to you.”
