Exchange Gifts
Narrated ‘Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her):
Allah’s Apostle Muhammad (may Allah’s peace be upon him) used to accept gifts and used to give something in return.

Nu’man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with them) reported:
My father took me to Allah’s Messenger Muhammad (may Allah’s peace be upon him) and said:
Allah’s Messenger, bear witness that I have given such and such gift to Nu’man from my property, whereupon the (the Holy Prophet) said:
Have you conferred upon all of your sons as you have conferred upon Nu’man? He said: No. Thereupon he (the Holy Prophet) said: Call someone else besides me as a witness. And he further said: Would it, please you that they (your children) should all behave virtuously towards you? He said: Yes. He (the Holy Prophet) said: Then don’t do that (i e. don’t give gift to one to the exclusion of others).

Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that Allah’s Messenger Muhammad (may Allah’s peace be upon him) forbade Qaza.
I said to Nafi: What is Qaza’? He said:
This means having a part of a boy’s head shaved and leaving a part unshaven.
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) once saw two men. He asked one of them, “How is this man related to you?” He replied, “He is my father.” Abu Hurayrah said:
“Do not call him by his name, do not walk in front of him and do not sit before he does.”

Narrated ‘Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her):
The bed mattress of the Prophet Muhammad (may Allah’s peace be upon him) was made of a leather case stuffed with palm fibres.

Narrated ‘Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her):
The family of Prophet Muhammad (may Allah’s peace be upon him) had never eaten their fill of wheat bread for three successive days since they had migrated to Madina till the death of the Prophet (may Allah’s peace be upon him).

Narrated Al-Aswad bin Yazid (may Allah be pleased with him):
I asked ‘Aisha “What did the Prophet Muhammad (may Allah’s peace be upon him) use to do at home?” She (may Allah be pleased with her) said:
“He used to work for his family, and when he heard the Adhan (call for the prayer), he would go out.”

Narrated ‘Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him):
During some of the Ghazawat [battles] of the Prophet Muhammad (may Allah’s peace be upon him), a woman was found killed. Allah’s Apostle (may Allah’s peace be upon him) disapproved the killing of women and children.

Narrated Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him):
Allah’s Apostle (may Allah’s peace be upon him) said:
“Do not hate one another, and do not be jealous of one another, and do not desert each other, and O, Allah’s worshipers! Be brothers. Lo! It is not permissible for any Muslim to desert (not talk to) his brother (Muslim) for more than three days.”

Narrated Abu Mas’ud Al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him):
The Prophet (may Allah’s peace be upon him) said:
“When a Muslim spends something on his family intending to receive Allah’s reward it is regarded as Sadaqa for him.”
