Lower Your Voice
Almighty Allah said (translation):
“And be moderate (or show no insolence) in your walking, and lower your voice. Verily, the harshest of all voices is the voice (braying) of the ass.”
[Quran, Surat Luqmān(31):19]
Walk Easily
Almighty Allah said (translation):
“And the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth easily, and when the ignorant address them [harshly], they say [words of] peace.”
[Quran, Surat Al-Furqān(25):63]
Pride and Insolence
Almighty Allah said (translation):
“And turn not your face away from men with pride, nor walk in insolence through the earth. Verily, Allah likes not each arrogant boaster.”
[Quran, Surat Luqmān(31):18]
Walk Not with Arrogance
Almighty Allah said (translation):
And walk not on the earth with conceit and arrogance. Verily, you can neither rend nor penetrate the earth, nor can you attain a stature like the mountains in height.
[Quran, Surat Al-‘Isrā'(17):37]
Don’t Get Angry
Narrated Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him):
A man asked the Prophet Muhammad (May Allah be pleased with him) to counsel him and he said:
Do not become angry.
The man repeated that several times and he replied:
Do not become angry.

Real Strength
Narrated Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him):
Allah’s Messenger (may Allah’s peace be upon him) said:
The strong man is not one who is good at wrestling, but the strong man is one who controls himself in a fit of rage.

Keep Smiling
Abdullah ibn Haarith (may Allah be pleased with him) reported:
“I did not see anyone who smiled more than Rasulullah (Messenger of Allah, Muhammad; may Allah’s peace be upon him)”

Comparing with Others
Prophet of Allah, Muhammad (may Allah’s peace be upon him) said:
Look at those below you and not those above you. It is better for you, so that you do not deny Allah’s blessings on you.

Arrogance
Narrated Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him):
The Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace be upon him) said:
“No one will enter Paradise who has even a mustard-seed’s weight of arrogance in his heart, and no one will enter Hell who has even a mustard-seed’s weight of faith in his heart.”

Repel Evil with Good
Almighty Allaah said (translation):
The good deed and the evil deed cannot be equal. Repel (the evil) with one which is better (i.e. Allah ordered the faithful believers to be patient at the time of anger, and to excuse those who treat them badly), then verily! he, between whom and you there was enmity, (will become) as though he was a close friend.
